PS:

Actually, FigureJ doesn't crash really. Fiji just becomes unresponsive for extended periods of time and sometimes when I return to the computer later, the plugin is ready again and the project folder contains the usual files. Only it was vastly faster some years ago. Can anyone point out a solution? What do you use as a current alternative? Is there an archived version of Fiji that works in the old way? Which version would I pull and how would I go about installing the plugin and dependencies in that, without breaking it again? Wasn't it a great plugin?

Best regards

Christian

Dear community

is anyone else having problems using the FigureJ plugin that is still in the update sites of IBMP-CNRS? I hadn't used it in quite a while. I updated on a fresh downloaded stable Fiji and the plugin starts and allows me to build a layout and add images. As soon as I try to save, it comes to choosing an output folder. When I select that, Fiji crashes / becomes unresponsive. I can see the folder was generated and contains one file with '.figurej' as extension.  Any ideas how to get it working again?

Best regards

Christian
