We installed the KWM templates 9 days ago, and immediately had our Netscape
users reporting Javascript errors when opening the Compose window or Address
Book Window. Our first step was to make sure the default style and style
selections contained : MsgBackground=white&MsgFontColor=black
and then had users choose a color and refresh their cookies.
Now, after consulting with Ron several times, we're still stuck with these
messages appearing on an infrequent basis: there seems to be no pattern
involving Netscape version, style settings, Netscape settings, user
preferences, or display settings. The only pattern we have observed is that
the js errors rarely occur on machines inside our building; and occur more
frequently with users coming in through other ISPs and through our own frame
relay network. In fact, my laptop KWM access works fine in the office, but
gives me js errors when I go home and coonect via my home ISP. We suspect it
has something to do with timing, but Ron hasn't heard of chronic problems
with other Netscape users.
Any ideas?
