You're talking about two separate things. The KWM message preview pane
preference is a domain-specific option to hide or show the preview pane, and
the user cannot override your setting. The Message Preview option is an
IMail thing, that shows or hides the first 128 chars of the message body in
the message list; and you should know that that feature doesn't work if
you're using an external database... a well-known IMail bug that we cannot
control. It's probably a good thing, as previewing that much text in a long
messages list would make for some really big kb pages.
