The externalizer sound like a neat product (one we might be able to use),
however, I have yet to see a response to a number of people who have asked
the question, will 7.0 be able to SMTP Auth on virtual domains with an
external database? What have you guys discovered there at HKSI? Is it
still an issue?
Because of your products, mostly Ez-signup, We are very interested in
migrating to an external DB, however we currently supporting about 100+
virtual domains. It seems doable to migrate from the registry to an
external DB, but if I have to give up SMTP Auth to do that, then I have no
way to block people from using us as a SPAM relay. Doesn't seem like a
worthwhile tradeoff. Is there relief with 7.02? Or perhaps I am missing
some other suitable configuration.

It's an as-yet-unadvertised product of ours, a GUI-based app that
automatically moves IMail users from the registry to an external db
(Access or SQL), and reconfigures IMail v6 automatically. Here are the
