We have an app that does that, works great!
We have 2 versions, one that updates the registry or one that used the
odbcuser.dll
Reduces the load on the SQL immensely.

ok, then next project for HKSI is SQL-to-Imail program, so the user
database in SQL can updtate the registry database in Imail. :)
Sandford's convinced me that external database is not on the path to
scaleablity. so there has to be a way to duplicate the SQL database to
the
Imail database. this duplication is also a redundancy that allows one
to
continue while the other is down.
