Joseph,

7.1 shouldn't have broken anything in this regards. For example, see our example login code at:

 http://www.humankindsystems.com/imail-login.htm

It worked with Imail 6, and it works now against 7.10 HF1.

You are posting to http://mail.domain.com/login.cgiand not "mail.domain.com/login.cgi", right?

Finally, Make sure the official hostname of the domain is "mail.domain.com" in the IMail admin console. Some IMail 7 upgrades get their OHN screwed up.

Subject: [imail] Remote login to imail web messaging

We have a client who needs to have a one-click remote login to imail web messaging server.  We had a 6.x version running and this was working fine.  Now version 7.10 is running (clean install, same user database) and it doesn't work.  We are using Cold Fusion to make an http request, posting to mail.domain.com/login.cgi  passing page=login [EMAIL PROTECTED] password=password  all as Form field variables.  When we login from the web messaging page it works fine, but when I use this remote login, it comes back as:

post error
unknown post action
page=login&[EMAIL PROTECTED]&password=password

I have the "ignore source address in security check" option enabled in web messaging services through imail admin.

Any help is appreciated.
