[IMail Forum] Log Snippet Question

I see log entries such as this:

 

05:27 05:30 SMTPD(000C00D4) [0.0.0.0] connect 38.8.210.2 port 39422
05:27 05:30 SMTPD(000C00D4) send error 10054
05:27 05:30 SMTPD(000C00D4) send error 10054

 

What does this indicate?  The IP address is external to our company and the IP addresses are always coming from this pool:

 

12.10.10.194

38.222.97.11

38.222.97.12

38.153.179.6

38.8.210.2

 

Is this Spammers trying to use us as a relay?
