That (subscription confirmation ) is a feature that is badly needed. It is
annoying to get those "how did I get here?" notes, but how can you be
indignant when there is no safeguard against a bogus subscription? I Love
IMAIL, but I would definitely love it more with subscription confirmation as
a feature (added as optional would help IMAIL continue to rise above the
lessers). I have one customer with an online magazine who does not use my
list server (included with her package) but rather contracts that out due to
that feature (or lack). She got tired of the "how did I get heres?" and was
a majordomo user before she came to my web hosting service so she expected
more... Nobody else has complained but I would love to see IMAIL fix that
one before anyone else does...
