Hello Folks
Thanks for the dns tips, but here's another problem. The web department
recently registered the server on which I-Mail will be running. However,
they changed it's name from "mailhost" to "NS1" (nameserver1).and also
changed it's ip address as well....
I-Mail is configured :Hostname:Mailhost.
Not only that, the person (no longer with us,) who configured I-mail gave
the mail.betelgeuse.com virtual host ip as NS1's NEW ip address. I'll try to
make this clearer:
SERVER STATS:
SERVERNAME:NS1 (WAS mailhost)
SERVER IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.4
I-Mail STATS:
I-Mail Hostname: MAILHOST
IP ADDRESS: xxx.xxx.xxx.220
mail.betelgeuse.com (virtual) ip: xxx.xxx.xxx.4
How can I fix this? seems like the registry must be changed? Please e-mail
me with any tips--mail must be up yesterday! Thank you--Joe
