Thanks for your reply. My next question would be, since I use Blat as my
form mailer how could I configure the server to close up this loop-hole and
still allow Blat or another mailer to send through my server.

Local hosts checks only for a valid domain in the FROM:< > address. A
spoofed username with a valid local domain will be relayed without question.
Local users requires that the FROM:< > address contains a valid local user
and the user's password must also be passed to the server before it is
relayed....I think.
