Title:
I experienced the same thing when saving a copy to the server using POP.  I do not know what the problem is with that but wanted to let you know you are not alone.  It finally pushed me to learn how to use IMAP, and I now love IMAP.  I would not want all of my customers using IMAP since it is more resource intensive, but if you are using IMAIL for a local mail system IMAP would solve that for you.  If that is not an option for you than maybe we will both learn something when you figure this one out...  Please keep me posted

Subject: [IMail Forum] Receiving many copies of same emails

Hi there.
I have IMAIL 5.03 installed.
Almost no problems untill last week.
One subscriber complains because he received 2 copies of each email received. Same time, same subjetc, same all.
I stopped/started SMTP and POP3.
So far ok.
Today, I awake with 4 copies of emails to my mailbox.
For example, of this List messages, I have 4 copies of each mail sent.
One of each was read by me at the time I received it.
Others 3 marked as unread, and received hours later, with the right time ( the time the first was sent)
I also have another account, in the same MSOE5, named webmaster, that is receiving only one copy. Right way.
Differences between one and the other ? the one getting 4 messages has the advanced option 'mantain copy in the server' active. Webmaster account is set as default, no copies on server.

What is going on there ?
Any ideas ?

Any help will be great.

Andres.-
