I am a brand new imail user, also new to the wonders of tcp/ip. I installed
imail on our server using the server ip and the domain name
"servername.registereddomainname.org"
using our server name and registered domain name.
I am able to send mail from the imail client on my local workstation and
receive it back. Replies do not work.
I am not able to receive or send mail via outlook express. I set up an
account on outlook using the ip address of the server for the pop3 server
name and the smtp server name. It seems happy with the ip address - no
error message - but also no mail.
Anybody willing to work with a beginner? <smile>
