Hi All,
Based on advice received after my recent post, I started playing around with
trailer.txt.
Why?
I am interested in adding a short text line at the end of every message
leaving a certain virtual domain (an advertisement of the domain basically).
By putting the file trailer.txt in the application directory, all mail
leaving the mail server (irrespective of the domain) has the body of that
file appended to it.
If I tried putting the file somewhere else (like in the directory of the
domain), no trailer was added.
Q1) Is it possible to have trailers attached to mail from a chosen virtual
domain?
Q2) Am I restricted to straight TXT files? Can I add html files somehow?
Thanks,
Marcin

Subject: [IMail Forum] Using NT database password change is still active
in web message
Ok. I have just upgraded to the 5.04 and all is well, But when I go to the
web mail and log in it gives the ability to change the password. So what the
heck I tried to change it. It told me the change was saved. I loged off and
tried to log on only to find the old password still in place. This is good
in the sence that we don't want people changing their passwords. I fear many
people calling in with the dumb qestion of I changed my password and I can't
get to my mail now. With the answer of just use the old. I have tried useing
the global user change and setting it to no password change allowd and I
have also checked the NT database. This is an import from annother machine
and I was having the same problem with it. Can anyone tell me where I can
disable the password change in the reg or how to fix this problem?
