FrontPage server extensions uses "plain vanilla" SMTP to process form
generated emails.

Check your configuration in FP Server Ext, but IMail works fine.

If you are using custom scripts, such as Microsoft CDONTS COM objects, they
may only work with the Microsoft flavor
of SMTP.

In that case, switch to any of the widely available COM objects that use
regular SMTP such as JMail, ASPMail, etc.
