This is IPSwitch's implementation of the syslog daemon, an Unix server
used to log a number of events. It listens to UDP packets. It's the
equivalent of the NT Event Viewer, roughly. You don't have to run it in
order to log any IMail service, use it only if you have another
system/equipment that might benefit from it (router, ras, etc.).
