Has anyone found a way to wrap the IMAIL web interface with SSL?
Has anyone heard if IPSWITCH is planning to incorporate that as an option or
feature in future releases?

or just have the SSL form send the mail to a local mail account
and the client fetch it from there via the web interface? Sure it
could get sniffed when he hits it with the browser, but its more
secure then bouncing around the internet and ending up in the wrong
mailbox..

Form generated mail from an SSL page would only be secure until it is sent,
then as it hops around the Internet, it would be clear text. You could have
a CGI program or a Java Servlet apply a simple cryptographic scheme to the
outbound "Form Generated" mail that only they had the key to decode, but at
that point you are starting to see co$t$ rise. One exception I could think
of would be using the SMTP engine on IIS4 to send the mail to your customer
using TLS (Transport Layer Security) but not many servers support that...
Encrypted content I think is as close as you can get to secure mail from a
web server.
