I am experiencing the same thing using the NT user database. I have a call
in to tech support about this, but have not gotten a response as of yet.

Also, a little bit easier than adding a dummy attribute is to go to the
properties page, add an extra space to a field (at the end of the last name
for instance) and then hit apply. At least in the NT user database world
this causes the proper LDAP attributes to be created.

P.S. - 5.05 did not correct this issue.

Subject: [IMail Forum] New users don't have LDAP entries

We're new to Imail and are running 5.04 250 user, using external
databases and each host on it's own IP address (we only run 3 domains).
We use adduser to add 40 users, only to find that none of the users are
given ldap entries. If we go to each users LDAP attributes and add a
dummy attribute, delete the dummy attribute and click 'Apply' the
standard LDAP attributes appear and from here on the user appears in
LDAP. Are we the only ones experiencing this? Is there something we
should be doing to get adduser to create the LDAP info?

Thanks, Richard.
