I am trying to figure out the best way to put my email server behind my
Wingate proxy server. The Wingate server has two NICs, one with a valid IP
for external connections and other being 192.168.0.1 for internal. I want
to use 192.168.0.4 as the IP for my Imail server. I can do the mappings in
Wingate so I can receive email but I haven't had any luck in getting email
out of the network - I'm still working on this with Wingate but I haven't
got a real positive response from them as of yet.
Does anyone have any experience with putting Imail behind a proxy server?
If so, what are the issues I need to be looking at? If I can't make Wingate
work, what else can I do?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
