Hello, I have a customer with an eMail Station from Intel. He can work in 2 manners : read all the mail for his company using POP3 protocol, from 1 mailbox. Or working with SMTP protocol, using our iMail as relay server. But for the moment it doesn't seem to work good ... Using POP3 : the problem is with the BCC option. If someone sends a mail in this way, the TO: section in the mail does not contain the BCC address, so his program cannot transfer the mail correctly ! If I analyse the source of the mail, I cannot find the destination (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]). Question : can the iMail 5.0 SMTP add the destination for the BCC in the TO option ??? This would solve all problems USING SMTP : here the problem is that the customer cannot get a FIXED IP-number. He can use the ETRN command, but this is currently not possible due to the dynamic IP-number. Question : if the ETRN command (telnet on port 25 of you server) could invoke a changing of his IP number in the host-file on the NT, this could work on dynamic IP-addresses too !!! Wouldn't this be a nice feature ??? However, it would invoke security problems ... Please advise ...
