Richard,
IMail has a built in limit of 30 SMTP deliver processes, but that can be
changed (article in KB tells how). Any time there are 30 SMTP32 processes,
IMail will start a new one, but it will immediately terminate and the message
will remain in the Queue for a later attempt. But your seeing mail on another
server means that something had to 'deliver' it to that mail server in the
first place. If you have IMails SMTP configured to use a 'gateway', that could
be what is causing it to deliver to the other server for final delivery. Also,
if a user is using the other server (and not IMail) that could explain why you
are seeing messages there.
