I was trying to undo a situation where I had subscribed myself to a number
of mailing lists by entering my user name as the list administrator, but
still needed to subscribe my email address to post messages (to a subscriber
only list).

I didn't realize I could subsequently remove my user name from the
subscriber list, and avoid receiving two copies of everything.

But Daniel Donnelly straightened that out for me, though, so I'm fine now,
thanks.
