Chris + All,
At least it worked for me. I used several user
email with this format [EMAIL PROTECTED]
You might want to check with others to see if anyone else has
used this format.
Dan
Hi Dan,
I'm using the standard Imail web interface version
5.05.
If you modify the JavaScript to tolerate the "."
character will the e-mail address comply to SMTP/POP standards
?

UserID question issue....
Chirs,
What web interface do you use for adding user? I
think it is the javascript error check that they put there to check for
data entry.
Dan
Hi,
But using the Web interface it's impossible to add
the same e-mail address ( because of the dot: "." between
joe and dupont ). you receive a validation error: "UserID must
consist of alphanumeric,-(hyphen) and _
(underscore)"
1) Is this bug known and is there a known fix (
besides the changing the html javascript validation code...
)?
2) Will this mailbox work with IMail and SMTP
or POP rules/standards...?
Thanks,

Imail Template Bug in both version 5.04 and 5.05 ????
Hi all + Ipswitch Support:
I have these
Logoff, Menu, Compose and Summary buttons attached to the
end of one of my email message. I've also found once a
while I see these appear especially in email message
reply with or without attachment. Notice that I am not
including these buttons on my msgsum.html template.
Pls
see the attachment for the "msgsum.html" template and
go to this link to see snapshot of the
bug http://gate.hotbiz.com/imail_bug1.jpg
