I don't think the senders of those messages goofed up. We really have no
idea whether those few individuals whose messages appeared here are in fact,
subscribed to this list.
But what we DO know is that if we reply to any one of those three sample
welcome messages, (received on THIS forum) our reply is addressed to THIS
list, and this list only.
Presumably the other lists are set up the same way as this one, and if you
look at the headers, the handful of messages that went to two lists do seem
to have been properly addressed - to the OTHER list addresses, not this one.
If the whole thing is a result of some prankster subscribing one group to
another, or some sort of boo-boo the moderator made (having the list server
send 3 welcome messages to 3 lists sounds kinda tricky to me) - it would be
instructive to hear that from the moderator of this list.
Especially since they seem to have caught whatever it was.
By the way - and I'm only assuming that this list is much busier than the
others - but if someone subscribed those other lists to this one, I bet the
poor slobs on the other lists got a real shock when all of our messages
started pouring in.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Receiving emails from THREE forums!
It started happening just when IPSwitch spreaded their "List Policies"
yesterday.
So, it's an operator's failure, or an software failure?
I'm planning to use IMail listserv feature, so I'd like to know *how* this
error was raised, so I'll NOT do it to my customers.

Ricardo Freire, MCP

I too am receiving these messages. It seems either we have been added to
the ws_ftp and whats up lists by accident, or they have combined lists. I
have tried removing myself from the non imail lists but without luck.

I need help uploading multiple images. I don't have a problem with a
single photo. I need to list an item that I have 3 pictures of. I can't
figure out what the url should be to point at three different jpg files. As
you can probably tell, I am very new at this and would appreciate any help.
Thank you,
Carline
