Hi all,
With a few good hints (thanx y'all!) I've gotten
IMail web and MS Proxy2 working together, at least for the basics. I
initially only had ports 25, 80, and 443 enabled on my proxy, which worked for
reading, but not composing. The compose button would return an error
10053. I enabled ports 8383 and 8181 and compose works. Now I'm
getting the same 10053 when clicking the summary button from a few
screens. Not all, but a few - e.g. when reading an email.
Surprisingly the menu button works, from which screen the summary button can be
clicked just fine.
I searched my forum archive and the KB, but no
luck. Anybody else seen this? Is it a matter of more ports to
open? If so is it the same port all the time (which one)? And
mostly, is opening these ports on my proxy a potential security risk (is there a
better way)?
