On sending a message to an invalid user (ie [EMAIL PROTECTED] incorrect spelling of user name) and sometimes on a "reply to", no response is given to the sender. Upon clicking <send> it seems as if the message is being sent but you get to the next page and it is blank except for the i-mail buttons. <log off><menu>...etc. But..
In the log file

08:05 16:41 SMTPD(0A7A0116) [***.***.***] ERR mail.xceed.com invalid user <[EMAIL PROTECTED]
No error message is given and no error message is returned to sender or to postmaster
If the email address is valid or is not local you get a message
Success, message delivered
Also: When replying to an email in the "TO:" box you get a format as the shown one below
"Salvatore Infanti" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
but when receiving from other mail servers the format is different also causing the error reported above.
Has anyone else experienced these symptoms or solved these problems any help would be greatly appreciated
