Imail adds the complete filename of the email message (located in the spool
directory) to the end of whatever you have listed in the program alias
field.
if you have an alias called 'doit' declared as c:\doit.bat
the resulting call will be something like c:\doit.bat
c:\imail\spool\yadayada.txt
If you need a parameter to the bat file, simply declare it as 'c:\doit.bat
some_parm_here'
this would result in c:\doit.bat some_parm_here c:\imail\spool\yadayada.txt
