Hi Guys,
I am new to iMail, we are converting all our students from sendmail on a
digital alpha unix. This alpha is the main smtp. Its domain name is
alpha.whittier.edu with a canonical name as whittier.edu. We are creating
the new students in the iMail server. Ist domain name is poets.whittier.edu.
We also have an Exchange 5.5 server for our faculty and staff. Its domain
name is mail.whittier.edu. The way its setup now, I have an alias file and
all incoming mail is received by alpha. It checks the names on the aliases
file and sends the messages to the faculty or staff, if that is the case. If
not, it sends it to the alpha where all the returning students are.
I do not want to maintain this aliases file anymore. So I am thinking to
make the new iMail the main smtp server. I would like to forward all the
incoming messages from the iMail to the alpha and the exchange servers.
Can I do this with iMail?
