This ms. bounced with reference to my reply-to address, which was with bigfoot.com and not the same as the sending address. I deleted that, restarted Outlook, and will try again... --Original ms. here-- Here's the setup: IMail 4.07 (have version 5 in hand, but want to migrate to a new server when we upgrade, so have put it off for a while, yet) NT4.0, SP3, 192MB RAM PII 233MHz, ~500 users. Most of the time, we're happy. But... Just this week, I (personally!) am getting "Transport provider not available" errors to some of my correspondents. I checked KB article IM-19980116-JB02 on Mail relay options, and we've got "Relay mail for addresses" set up properly, according to the help documents, for each Class C subnet (Group!) we own. I'm working from a static IP on my workstation (Outlook 2000, NT4, SP4) The log shows the ms. has a RCPT TO: line with the originator, who is not a local user. No foreign IP shows up in this context, so it doesn't seem like a reverse-DNS problem (which would be "554 SMTP service not available", IM-19990623-DM05). Any clues?
