It's my understanding that the 'peering' option of Imail is used to
distribute the user accounts across multiple machines. It does not actually
provide redundancy for each user account.
For example,
users [EMAIL PROTECTED] are handled by machine1.company.com
users [EMAIL PROTECTED] are handled by machine2.company.com
If machine1 fails, users A-M will *not* be able to check their mail until it
is available again.
In addition, you must inform your users which machine they need to connect
to to retrieve mail.
A-M must use machine1.company.com, N-Z must use machine2.company.com,
