Hi all,
I've been listening here for about the past month, and have picked up quite a few good tips about IMail. And I have just finished reading all the notes about trailer.txt files. But it looks like the KB has failed (IM-19990601-DM02).
I am trying to get the header.txt and trailer.txt function to work for the List Server (as described on page 178 of the IMail User's Guide). This list case is on a virtual host with unique, real IP address, and the files for each domain are in separate folders under \IMail.
In IMail Administrator, "Enable Header" and "Enable Trailer" are checked under the "Advanced" tab for the particular list, and there is a plain text message when I click "Edit".
Using Windows Explorer, I can see the header.txt and trailer.txt files in the listname folder under "lists" with the subscrib.txt, subject.txt, users.lst, and users.txt.
The subscrib.txt file functions okay.
