The manual picture is rather old, unfortunately. In about V4.0x,
some clients (MS in particular!) started showing incorrect times in
messages. We found that MS likes only a 3 character or a numeric TZ
to calculate correctly. So you may be able to use EST or EDT, but
better is to use -0400 or -0500. Yes, you will need to change this
numeric when Daylight savings changes.
Not sure, but IMonitor may have a bit of code from WhatsUP (that is
where the notification technology came from) in which it tried to
calculate time for the message in a strange way (sorry, cannot
remember details). Anyway, I'd have to check that out. Guess you are
still using an older version of IMail, judging by your questions.
