Ed,

If the host is mail.abc.com, then all you need is the HOSTS
file entry and set the SMTP Security, Relay, to either,
Anyone, or more exactly, to Addresses, and input the IP of the
Exchange host (don't forget a last <CR> at the end of the
entry!). Stop/start the SMTP service and you should be in
business. All mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] will be accepted by IMail
(HOSTS file) and pass to the IP found in HOSTS. The Relay
setting allows IMail to know that messages from that host can
be resent (assuming Exhcange is not doing the sending, except
to IMail.
