the EasyMail objects are around $300.  Quite reasonably priced IMHO.

I've been playing around with the easymail objects by Quicksoft, and I'm quite impressed with them so far.  Check them out at:

I'm also looking for a web-based mail system (for my client's intranet). Some of their users are going to be migrating from Exchange to IMail, so I have to support both, which lets out IMail's web stuff. One additional wrinkle is I need to support IMAP, not just POP3.

We were going to use software.com's WebEdge product until we discovered that it's a real pig if you have lots of messages in your inbox. The inbox in question has 2000 messages, but I created a piggish test case with only 200 messages.

I'm still searching, but my current best candidate is MailBuilder (www.dart.com). It's a pretty impressive set of ActiveX components that should let me build anything I want.

Just thought I'd add my 2-cents worth. If anyone knows of a web client that can help me, please let me know.

Dave

We're taking a look at AspQMail and AspPOP3.
Taken together, is this everything we need to put up a web based
email server?  (Plus IMail, of course).

Has anyone put up free email services using this combination?

How would you then create functions to set up mail boxes, change passwords,
etc... that are all built in to the web interface?  Can these be dne in ASP or do they have to be done,
for example, through a link to an Imail web interface/control page?

Thanks

Chris

Hey Raymond,

I have been using ASPMail for 9 months and it works great for us.  Goto http://www.serverobjects.com to get a copy.  I think they have it available there?
