I am installing IMAIL for a client that has two NT domains, with a One-way trust. What do I need to do to get IMAIL to work in that situation. Here is the breakdown... Domain A is a MS Proxy box. Domain B is a NT/IMAIL Server box behind the proxy/firewall (on Domain A). I have set up the firewall to allow the mail protocols to pass. In fact I can telnet into the mail server on DOmain B from the Internet, but I cannot run a mail reader for it gives an authentication error aand login failure. I am assuming it has to do with the Domain trusts. I have IMAIL at several client sites with a MSProxy setup and it always works, but none of them are a 2 NT domain environment that has trusts.
