I am in process of setting up Imail and am having difficulties recieving mail from an external source. I can send and recieve internally, send to external hosts, but can not recieve from an external host. I try to send a message from an external internet account and get the error message that follows.
"relaying denied" means that the "external" accnt is trying to send a mail through your Imail, aka smtp relaying, to an account not the Imail machine (ie, external or not local account or host). In Imail you have relaying turned off in controlpanel:imail:smtpsecurity. Just to test, allow all relaying to see if the msg goes through.
Imail's smtp security will allow all relaying (not recommended) or just one of several restricted relaying conditions, as you see on the smtp security tab.
