You could probably set your Imail Services in Imail
Control Panel to Interact with Desktop and it would
show you some connection information. Although this
would pop up Windows all over your server and
probably would not help as much as being a nuisance.
I have done this for testing purposes before. Of course
you have to restart the services after you make the change.
Personally I just run a shutdown on the services at some
odd time for maintenance and then deal with any complaints
later. Stuff happens. Had a huge power outage one time
and the UPS on the mail server gave it up. I am sure
someone was logged on when it did a shutdown. <g>
