Sorry I could not resist just being a "yup'py" for a minute.
Two ways to skin this cat, one would be to use peering, but the other that I
think would be better, if not politically impossible, would be to give user
address at location 2 like [EMAIL PROTECTED] To accomplish this
with only one box (box1) connected to the Internet, you would need to set
your hosts file on the machine connected to the internet (box1) to point
location2.company.com to the IP of the second machine. You would also need
to go to the second machine and set that box to relay all outbound mail
through box 1. That would be accomplished via the SMTP tab of the IMAIL
control panel.
If you would rather just set up peering, then you should consult the IMAIL
KB as there is a good article that details that process clearly as well as
outlining the pros and cons of that configuration.
