Michel,
To use characters that are not on the keyboard, one can hold the Alt key then
type a 3 digit number. This works even in a DOS window. Sorry, I don't
remember the characters and their numbers, but a long time ago, it was in the
Basic manual that (used to) come with your OS. Now not all program will be
able to handle these characters, but notepad certainly can $B%K(B,�,� (preceding
characters were chreated with Alt146, 147, 148).
