Actually, I already have Deenesse. BIND will continue even though the demo
will expire. You won't be able to start DNesse and edit the zone files, but
you will be able to use the systray applet instead of NDC to start, stop and
reload.
We originally purchased DNesse, but had trouble with it, so now I just hand
edit the files myself. Thinks like the Nic-o-matic section would error and
they couldn't figure it out (they ended up giving me a key to Nic), every
time the program started I had to changing the default SOA from 1999XX010101
(it put in extra digits) back to 1999010101, and more. I'm thinking of
giving it another try, after they come out with a bug fix or upgraded
version. I'm sure that the problem is that they're a small company, and
it's hard to keep on top of everything.
But DNesse can't help me to track things like router DLCI's, or give me a
report based upon the Customer's name, an IP address or range, or the DLCI
#!
