[IMail Forum] Customizing

I am using the eval version of IMail 5.07.  I have successfully customized the login.html screen.  However when I try to modify one simple thing of the menu.html using notepad it wont do anything with the CGI stuff.   I am trying to change the background to just bg.jpg.... how hard can it be..   what am I doing wrong?   Corey
