See if you can set SMTP Authentication on in your client software. It is
usually just a check box in a setup screen. Your server will then require a
user name and password (the same as for POP3 access) before relaying mail.
This prevents against an open relay, and you won't need to specify certain
network addresses to relay for.

I forgot to mention that I outsource my dial-up so I cannot specify all
the possible relay addresses for my users in the "relay for address" field.
