I just tried to hit the link using IE5 on NT2000 advanced server and it came up 10 for 10. The background and the graphics do not come up at all. I'm taking a stab here but it almost seems as though the upgrade did not go as planned.

Also the storage space error is usually a cache problem when it comes to IE...I would try clearing the cache on your browsers Again if your cache is full or corrupted then if you try to hit a link it's the same as typing the address into the browser itself so you will get the same or very similar result.

You can get Imail Instructions for your users at http://www.ipnp.net/imailstuff/imailstuff.htm

Sounds like a service pack issue.  I know that sounds nuts, but try it anyway.  Reinstall your current NT service pack on the proxy server and the IMAIL server.

Subject: [IMail Forum] ms proxy server web messaging

Our LAN  uses MS proxy server v2.0 sp1 as a gateway to internet.  our mail server is outside of the proxy server.  we recently upgraded from imail v4 to v5.07.  many users use web messaging as client. worked ok with imail v4.  Does not work with v5.07.  we use  ie 4 and ie 5 as browsers.  usually first sometimes 2nd message created will get through proxy to mail server then get message that next message is sent when it isn't and also get message that current mailbox  is empty when it isn't.  Sometimes get the message from explorer  "internet explorer cannot open internet site   http://mail.riverdell.k12.nj.us:8383/xafd8cc9f989acc9e983d6c7cba/sendmail.15432.cgi" not enough storage is available to process this command.

pc's are running win95 and 98  with  16, 32 or 64 mb memory.  Proxy server does not cache any pages that go to mail server.  Tried  Netscape communicator   v4.6  and it appears to work ok.

any suggestions of how we can get explorer to work with web messaging through the proxy server ??
