I see this on some of our list. Especially when there are
yahoo or hotmail users on the list of e-mails. On a busy night
it sometimes takes a while getting mail to hotmail. The actual
spool file will not finish until the last message is delivered.
An example of this is a family mailing list that I have. Only a few
names in the list. However one family member is on some goofy
e-mail service that is not always accepting mail for some odd
reason. (Probably runs on a dial up connection :>) List
messages may take as much as three hours to finish in those
cases.

Look just before the 'finished' line and see when the last message
was delivered to a list member. Now look back in the log file and
see how many attempts were made to deliver to that address.

Like I am sure anyone sending mail to me this morning saw it
take 'a while'. For the first time in three years I had total silence
in my server room.
