Tim,
I just looked into this myself. What you will need to do is to extract your
users into a text file then import it into Access. There is a utility which
will do the extraction. You can find it here http://www.martek.net/iplus/
Hope this helps

I too am using coldfusion, and at the moment I am running the Imail database
and a separte Access database that I am querying. Can anybody lend a
helpful hint as to the best method of switching over from the IMail database
to an external Access database without causing major disruption?
Or is this generally not a good idea?
Tim

I'm using CF too. Our IMail domain uses SQL Server 7. So I authenticate
users, create and remove mailboxes in CF using SQL stored procedures. I've
not thought about trying to use CF to manipluate the IMail database
(?registry).

Subject: [IMail Forum] Cold Fusion + IMail
Has any developer out there used the IMail user database as a single point
of authentication for a Cold Fusion application? I'm very new to Cold Fusion
programming, so it may be a simple task that I'm overlooking. I've got a the
beginnings of a functional web-based LDAP client built using CF, but I'm
hearing from the higher-ups that they don't want all of the employee
information to be viewable to the public (I know, I know - anyone with
another LDAP client could get to it anyway). I know this will be a recurring
theme as I develop more intranet-type applications...
Thanks for the input.
