Just a note to introduce myself.
I am with Cowtown Net which is a regional
ISP in the Dallas Ft Worth metroplex. We
have been running email on an Ipad mail server
and this coming Monday are switching over to
Imail 5.07. We have been working this week
importing all our users, domains, aliases, etc and
are ready hopefully. We have told our customers
about the switch coming up Monday.
I want to thank those of you who helped me out
on the list this week. We had some questions and
got good answers here. I appreciate it and hope
I can be a help to some of you in the future.
In closing do any of you have anything you can
anticipate we will face Monday with our customers?
They use Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape,
Eudora, etc. etc. With the Ipad mail server they
all connect using a Pop3 setting of just
their username, password, and their servers set
to mail.cowtown.net I wondered if any of these
clients will have to reconfigure come this Monday.
If you faced anything when you started up with
Imail I would appreciate knowing about it so we
can get our tech people up to speed and ready.
