I have a slight problem.

My server runs IMail v.408 and I host virtual domains with virtual imail.

Anyway, when someone sends a message from [EMAIL PROTECTED]

to [EMAIL PROTECTED] it is only possible to successfully send
if they send to the absolute name - for example:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Have I set something up wrong?

In my dns, the records are as follows for a virtual host:

A Record: theirdomain.com
A Record: main.theirdomain.com
CNAME: www to main
MX Record: main.theirdomain.com
@ Record: server1.mymaindomain.com

In the IMail Administrator the settings are as follows:

Host: main.theirdomain.com
Alias: theirdomain.com

If all domains are hosted on one computer, why do you have to be so specific
when sending mail?

If someone could help me correct this problem I would really appreciate it.

Thx

- Jason
