Dominic, make sure you have these entries in your IIS
configuration.

Open MMC and right click on the machine you want to
change. Choose Properties. Select WWW Service, then
click the Edit button. Click on the Home Directory Tab
and then the Configuratiion button.

Add this to your mappings.

C:\Perl\Bin\Perl.exe %s %s
Extension: .pl
Exclusions: PUT,DELETE

You may need to change the path to Perl to reflect your actual
configuration.

Click OK and you will be prompted if you want to apply this
to all webs.

to a simple question (if there is such a thing).

I am trying to use the Imail perl script to allow subscribe and unsubscribe
features on web sites. I am getting a 405 method not allowed error. I am
using the Active perl latest install, and IIS 4.0. I am wondering: is the
problem a MIME mapping error and if so, what can I do to fix it.

Another question, does Active Perl come with cgi.pl?

Thanks!
