You do realize that you're asking a bunch of email server admins to forgo
email for usenet, right? Kinda contradictory methinks :)
Mailing list all the way. Of the 300+ emails I get a day, the ones from
this list are frequently the most informative. With a newsgroup I'd be too
inclined to follow threads, and a large part of what I've learned has been
in posts that I probably would have passed up based on the subject.
Besides, we've got a pretty good community thing going here that moving
to a newsgroup would probably trash :)
