IMAIL Friends....
On Monday my network was allocated a
new block of IP addresses due to a circuit change.
Prior to the actual re-numbering I scanned this
list for information as to how to accomplish the
re-numbering and minimize impact (and pain) to my
e-mail customers.
True to form someone on the list had asked the
question and someone else gave a URL to the
Knowledge Base article on the subject. The
message author assured the list it was an
easy process.
While it took some time to do the work, the
transition was smooth and only a few of my
customers even knew anything had changed.
Hats off to the list members for their
willingness to share and collaborate.
And a thank you to the Support Team
at Ipswitch for the fine work on the
Knowledge Base articles and a fine
product, IMAIL.
