"primary domain" is the default, non-virtual domain, yes? (this is wonderfully confusing to users, sure hope Imail can move away from this usage. Possible?)
so, for a given Imail server with ...
the defdomain.com
and
any number of virtdomain.com ...
... a user configuring Eudora would enter:
For "incoming mail server": mail.defdomain.com or mail.virtdomain.com ?
"login name:" user%virtdomain.com ?
"SMTP server:" mail.defdomain.com or mail.virtdomain.com
And then in DNS, should the MX for virtdomain.com point at mail.virtdomain.com or mail.defdomain.com?
Your KB represent a lot of work and in general is useful, but this kb article on configuring mail clients would be much less ambiguous if you showed the actual tabbed dialogs for Eudora, OE, OutLook, since so many of us have to drag our newbies through the client config. likewise for IMAP client configs.
